This is a Pulitzer prize winning photograph taken by Kevin Carter in southern Sudan in 1993. As you can see the vulture is watching the child waiting for the kid to die as the child tries crawling to a food center during the Sudan famine. Carter who had left the scene shortly after taking the picture committed suicide in 1994 after receiving the prize for this photograph.
