First LoveI’m sure most of you have fallen in love at one point or another and I don’t mean crushes I’m talking about real feelings where your heart starts to beat faster and you start feeling the tingles and butterflies. I have always believed that when you fall in love with someone for the first time, that person will forever hold a place in your heart and no matter how bad the break up was, no matter how many tears you shed, you will always remember them. As you meet new people and let others into your heart, that place gets smaller and smaller but never quite leaves you. From time to time you may notice how the simplest things would remind you of them, and in the end there is no more pain, no more hate, there are only good memories left to remind you of the times you’ve shared together, in the end it's all good ..

I believe love is primarily a choice and only sometimes a feeling. If you want to feel love, choose to love and be patient.
You know, it's nice to say I've reached that all good bit of my first love. You whats funny, 7 years later and he lives in the apartment below me and its peaceful apathy...
Sometimes we dont realize that the people we were in love with so long ago, are no longer the people we knew at all..

howahkan: I think it depends on how you look at things, in a way you have to want to be loved but on the other hand you don't really choose to fall in love it just happens ..

ok.. i find what you said really interesting, and partially true.. but the thing is, i dont believe that you will always have a space for them.. not even small.. size doesnt matter ;p no seriously, the longest relationship i ever had was 3 days.. i mean 3 years ;p and even though i was in love with her for 3 years, day and night, day by day, i still have absolutely no feelings for her no more, nothing really, she even got married this summer and i felt absolutely NOTHING.. so i dunno, i just disagree i guess ;p
I love being in love although you never really know do you? You keep asking yourself "Is this love?"
How can you know for sure, its indiscribable....

It's true .. when u loose someone dear to ur heart .. no matter how .. with time all whats left in there is the good memories u have with that person. i think this is a blessing from God. i mean to forget the wounds & survive only with & by nice bright thoughts.

Nah what kind of a thing that is worth keeping if its blocking my heart and brain from working !!! i hated that feeling... if one want to be in that phase then why not live on alcohol and herbs!!?

this is soo true...i can never forget my first love...although it was a painful breakup ...two years later,we dont really hate each other...n i still look back and think it was a great thing we had...oh it was amazing :)
