What a wonderful world ..

I didn’t have it easy as a kid, I went through a lot for someone my age. I was seven at the time when I first heard the song ‘what a wonderful world’ by Louis Armstrong, despite everything I was going through I sang this song from heart, I sang it meaning every single word as though there was no tomorrow .. Every time I listen to this song, I begin to remember everything as if it were yesterday; sometimes I wonder what happened to that kid I don’t know if she exists in me anymore maybe somewhere along the way I killed her or certain events did or maybe she’s just hiding for now .. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Louis Armstrong, he’s one of the greatest Jazz musicians of all time, hope you enjoy this song ..

Good choice of song :)

And, I agree with No3ik, that young girl still exists in you. She's there to remind you of how you fought and survived all the challenges..she's there to remind you that as a child it was ok to be scared, yet beyond those barriers you knew there lies yor dreams.

I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"

a masterpiece

Bad experiences are usually buried in the subconscious.. floats in different forms. I guess it is we that choose to bring that child out of our subconsciousness or leave him/her there.

incidents in our lives shape us to be what we are today..

in Reiki, the founder of Reiki Dr. Mikao Usui says:
Just for today, do not anger
Just for today, do not worry
Just for today, work hard
just for today, be kind to every living thing
Just for today, be grateful

madam,
you are a very passionate person. It's somthing precious to hold onto.

a few years ago a very special friend of mine was murdered. At his funeral which was here in Kuwait, they played this song. It is difficult for me to ever hear it in the same light ever again - in fact thinking about it makes my eyes water.

Life is hard. Pray harder!

and God bless you.

antihero: I agree it is partly in our hands whether or not we want to remember certain events or not but at times it is triggered by memory when we cross certain things from our past ..

3abeer: true, my past has made me the person I am today ..

Caleb Bardoforte: I'm very sorry to hear about your friend ..
